Crunchy Munchies Snack Mix
A list of ingredients you will need:
1 cup - old-fashioned or quick-cooking rolled oats
1/3 cup - firmly packed Domino® Light Brown Sugar
1/3 cup - butter or margarine, melted
1/3 cup - coarsely chopped nuts
1/4 teaspoon - ground cinnamon

Tip: Snack mix may also be prepared in the oven. Spread oat mixture on ungreased baking sheet. Bake in 350°F oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown, stirring every 5 minutes. Let cool.
Instructions »
In medium bowl, combine all ingredients; mix well. Cook in 10-inch skillet over medium heat, stirring constantly, 5 to 7 minutes or until golden brown. Using a spatula, spread onto ungreased baking sheet to cool; store in tightly covered container in refrigerator up to 2 weeks. Serve over ice cream, frozen yogurt, fresh fruit, cupcakes or pudding. Makes 2 cups.
Variations:
Peanut Crunch Mix: Prepare mix using 1/3 cup chopped peanuts for nuts; omit cinnamon. Cool completely and toss with mini-pretzels and popcorn.
Dried Fruit Mix: Prepare mix and cool. Toss with chopped dried apricots, dried cherries and raisins.
Summer Fun Snack Mix: Prepare mix and cool. Toss with chocolate-covered candies or chocolate chips and goldfish crackers.
Hold the Nuts Mix: Prepare mix, omitting nuts. Cool completely. Toss with toasted oat cereal and chow mein noodles.
