Brown Sugar Pancakes

  • 1 recipe Dry mix

  • 2 large  Eggs
  • 1 ¾ cups Whole milk
  • 6 tablespoons Unsalted butter, melted
  • Extra butter to grease skillet
  • Syrup of choice to serve

Step 1

In a large bowl, whisk all the ingredients for the dry mix until well combined. This mix can be prepared ahead of time and stored in a cool dry place in an airtight container for up to 1 month. 

Step 2

When ready to prepare the pancakes, whisk all the wet ingredients in a large bowl until well combined. Add the dry ingredients and mix. Some lumps should be visible, don’t mix until smooth. 

Step 3

Heat a skillet to medium heat and add butter. Add about ¼ cup of batter to the skillet. Add as many pancakes as your skillet can accommodate. Cook until bubbles begin to pop at the surface of the pancakes. Flip and cook until golden brown. Repeat the process with the rest of the batter.

Step 4

Serve with the desired syrup and butter.

Additional Tips

The dry pancake mix can be a great gift idea for holidays. Just add a printed card with the additional ingredients to add and cooking directions. Decorate the container according to the event.
